SQL SERVER TIP: OPTIMIZE SORTING FOR SOUNDEX
SEARCH RESULTS
The SQL Server Soundex function is used to find similar
strings based on a search pattern. The function calculates a
numerical value for a string. However, all matching strings
will have the same value, so sorting on this value has no effect.

ACCESS TIP: PREVENT USERS FROM
ACCIDENTALLY CLOSING MICROSOFT ACCESS FROM ITS CLOSE BOX
By disabling the Access close button, you eliminate user
confusion about which Close button to use to close a
maximized form or report preview. The commonly used "hidden
form" approach doesn't quite work. Eliminate accidental
exits from your application by directly disabling the close
button. Source code provided.
