Awards and Reviews

Award for Total Access Memo Best ActiveX Control
Best ActiveX Control

"As a small programming shop, we had neither the time nor the money to develop a control with the breadth of features that Total Access Memo has, and we feel the price for the control was well worth the investment."
- Robert Harvey, Programming Manager, Office Tools Pro
Case Study

"...if you have a few memo fields that could use rich text format (RTF), Total Access Memo is a great solution. Using this full-featured control, you can format the font and character style of selected text in the text box."
- Alison Balter, Author of Mastering Access Desktop Development

"Total Access Memo makes all the difference in my Access apps! Only Memo can give me fonts, colors, images and all the formatting tools I need. It's great!"

"It's (expletive) unbelievable!!"
- Bruce H. Bethlehem, PA

"I have developed a sophisticated database application for a client that does financial reporting for high net worth individuals. They wanted to attach professional looking notes to a report and the Access memo field doesn't allow that type of formatting. I purchased Total Access Memo and it does just what they wanted. The report is created using code, on the fly from a template, each time it is run, based on user input. Using code supplied by FMS I was able to resize the control at run time in the report's footer format routine. Thanks, FMS!"

Microsoft reports an Access bug that is resolved with Total Access Memo. Microsoft reports that you cannot see the contents of an embedded Microsoft Rich TextBox ActiveX Control when you Print Preview a report in Access. However:

"FMS, Inc. has a RichText control available that does not result in the behavior described in this article."

FMS NOTE: Total Access Memo is designed exclusively for Microsoft Access and is extensively tested to make sure it works on forms and reports the way you expect!
