The Group Analysis lets you compare groups of records against each other to determine if they are statistically different. Groups are defined by the unique values in the comparison field you specify. Of course, there may be a different numbers of records for each value which affects the significance of any differences.
The three types of group analysis are available:
Compare two sets of records defined by a Comparison field containing only two values (e.g. Gender, Yes/No, etc.)
Analyze multiple sets of records defined by a Comparison field with multiple values (e.g. Race, State, etc.). Sum of squares within and between groups are calculated for F value and probabilities.
Analyze multiple groups of records where each record belongs to more than one group. Multiple Comparison fields with multiple values in each field define the groups. The impact of each Comparison field is shown.
