Compare and Find Microsoft Access Report Differences

Total Access Detective performs detailed comparisons between two reports to reveal exactly what's different. Compare two reports in one database or identically named reports in two databases.

Total Access Detective makes it easy to find changes to your reports:

  • Report Properties (recordsource, caption, description, etc.)
  • Controls
    • Control Names on one report but not on the other
    • Control Type and other properties for identically named controls
  • Section Properties
    • Report Header and Footer Properties
    • Page Header and Footer Properties
    • Grouping section properties
    • Detail Properties
  • Embedded Macros at the report, section, and control levels
  • Module Code behind the report

When comparing two reports, you can compare the object (report design) and/or module code:

Compare Microsoft Access report properties, modules, or both

Module comparison has the same options as comparing two standard modules.
