Total Access Statistics for Microsoft Access
2010, Version 14.1 Enhancements
With the debut of Total Access Statistics for Access 2016, version 14.1 was released for Total Access Statistics for Access 2010. This is an upgrade from its original release of version 14.0 in September 2010. Version 14.1 brings parity with the
latest 2016 version and includes these features from 14.0:
Supports Microsoft Access 32 and 64 bit Versions
Total Access Statistics includes 32 and 64-bit versions to support either installation of Office/Access 2010. It also includes a 64-bit ACCDE runtime library that supports all database formats supported by that Access version including
ACCDBs, MDBs, and ADPs in Access 2010.
Runtime Libraries Now Support MS Access 2016 and 2013
The Runtime libraries let you generate Total Access Statistics results programmatically using VBA from your application rather than the add-in. You can then distribute your Access database to other users with the Total Access Statistics
functions, even if they don't own Total Access Statistics.
The VBA runtime libraries in version 14.1 support Access 2016 and 2013. The libraries are also backward compatible to support distribution to people using Access 2007 and 2003.
Additional Percentile Types Can Be Assigned to a Field in Your Table
In addition to generating a new table with percentile values or assign a percentile value to a field in your table, you can now specify calculations such as quartiles, quintiles, octiles, deciles, etc. rather than
just percentile with the new "Fill with.." option:
Data Formatting Enhanced
- Field format is set to Percent for percentage fields in the Frequency, Crosstab (when percentages are in columns), and Chi-Square details tables. Previously, they were formatted as General Number.
- When tables are generated from the add-in, the field column widths are resized to show the entire field name and data.
Improved performance when analyzing large data sets.
Improved Financial Calculations
The Cash Flow Analysis features are enhanced to better handle edge cases of irregular and limited transactions when calculating IRR, XIRR, and related functions.
Updated User Manual and Help File
Updated user manual and help file.
Supports Windows 8 and 10
The current operating systems are supported and the installation program enhanced to install differently in the Windows 8 and 10 environment versus Windows 7 and earlier.
